The series creator behind Fairy Tail, Hiro Mashima, has shed new light on Gajeel Refox and Levy McGarden’s love lives with some special new artwork! Fairy Tail continues to be one of the most notable anime and manga series of the past few years, and a lot of that is due to the number of characters that series creator Hiro Mashima has managed to include in the series. This gave rise to all kinds of amazing dynamics, which included many romantic relationships brewing between some surprising characters as well. Perhaps most surprising was the relationship between Gagel and Levi.
Although they didn’t look alike at first, the more the two fought side by side, the clearer a relationship was developing between the two. It’s one of the few couples that allowed Mashima to come to full fruition (something that fans criticized on the original tour), and now fans are getting another cute look at their romantic life together in a special new sketch that Mashima shared with fans on Twitter! Gajeel and Levy are luckily some fan favorites who are back in the franchise in the official sequel, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, but there are some big changes between the two when they reappear. This new sequel series will release an official anime mod of its own one day, but a potential release date, staffing team, or production studio hasn’t been announced as of this writing. So, if you want to get a quick start on Part Two before the anime debuts, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Officially licensed by Kodansha Comics, they describe the following series as:
